ClickDimensions

Marketing automation built for Dynamics 365

What is ClickDimensions?

ClickDimensions is a marketing automation platform built specifically for Microsoft Dynamics 365. It runs natively inside Dynamics 365 (not as a separate app with integrations), which means leads, contacts, and marketing data all live in the same CRM records your sales team already works in.

The platform covers the core marketing automation needs: email marketing, web tracking, landing pages, forms, surveys, event management, lead scoring, and nurture campaigns. Data flows directly into Dynamics 365 entities, so marketing and sales teams see the same picture of every lead and customer.

ClickDimensions is typically used by mid-market B2B companies already on Dynamics 365 who want marketing automation without the complexity and cost of integrating a separate platform like HubSpot or Marketo. Its main differentiator is how deeply it lives inside Dynamics 365 rather than alongside it.

Key capabilities

Email marketing

Drag-and-drop email builder, A/B testing, automated sends, and detailed engagement analytics tied to CRM records.

Web tracking

Track every visitor to your site, see which Dynamics 365 contacts visited what pages, and score engagement.

Landing pages & forms

Build landing pages and forms that write directly to Dynamics 365, no sync required.

Nurture campaigns

Multi-step nurture programs with conditional branching based on behavior, score, or CRM data.

Lead scoring

Behavioral and demographic scoring that updates Dynamics 365 lead records in real time.

Event management

Webinar and event registration with GoToWebinar, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams integration.

Who ClickDimensions is for

Where businesses run into trouble

ClickDimensions is powerful, but there are common pitfalls we see every day.

Email deliverability issues

Shared IP pools, poor list hygiene, and SPF/DKIM/DMARC misconfigurations cause deliverability to drop. Diagnosing requires understanding both email infrastructure and ClickDimensions settings.

Web tracking misconfigurations

Web tracking that does not properly identify visitors, or that double-counts sessions, leads to bad scoring and bad decisions downstream.

Campaign performance and reporting gaps

Out-of-the-box reports are basic. Building the KPI dashboards marketing leaders actually want typically requires custom Power BI work.

Platform migration and ClickDimensions Emerge

ClickDimensions is transitioning parts of its platform to a new architecture (Emerge). Understanding the migration path and timeline is critical for any customer planning for the next few years.

Frequently asked questions

Is ClickDimensions the same as Dynamics 365 Marketing?

No. Dynamics 365 Marketing (now Customer Insights — Journeys) is Microsoft's native marketing app. ClickDimensions is a third-party app that was built to run inside Dynamics 365. Many companies use ClickDimensions because it has been mature and stable longer, and because its pricing is more accessible for mid-market.

Does ClickDimensions work without Dynamics 365?

Historically ClickDimensions required Dynamics 365. The newer ClickDimensions Emerge platform is designed to work with or without Dynamics 365. If you are on Dynamics 365, the deep integration is still the main reason to choose ClickDimensions.

What does ClickDimensions cost?

ClickDimensions pricing is based on contact list size and feature tier, typically starting around $500/month for smaller lists and scaling up for enterprise. It's usually less expensive than HubSpot or Marketo at equivalent feature levels, especially when you factor in not needing a separate CRM integration.

Can ClickDimensions handle enterprise-scale marketing?

Yes, for B2B marketing scenarios. Many enterprise Dynamics 365 customers use ClickDimensions for core marketing automation. For very high-volume B2C email (millions of sends per day) or highly personalized e-commerce journeys, specialized platforms may fit better.
